Patagonia (Argentina & Chile) adventure custom trip itinerary:
Day 1 - Buenos Aires:
Arrival at Buenos Aires airport and transfer to hotel.

Day 2 - Bariloche:
Transfer to the domestic airport, flight to Bariloche (not
included) in Northwestern Patagonia. Overnight at a cozy hostel
in Llao Llao, 25 km from San Carlos de Bariloche. Three hour scenic excursion around "Short Circuit" in the beautiful lake district of Nahuel Huapí.

Day 3 - Bariloche:
Meeting with the rafting guide, short itinerary briefing of the Manso river which crosses the Andes ending in the Pacific ocean, setting all
the equipment for the rafting. Personal afternoon (free time).
Same overnight stay as previous day.
Day 4 - Manso river valley - Steffen lake:
to Steffen Lake, where we begin our 7-day tour over the Andes
to Chile. Rafting along the emerald green Manso River (Grade
II-III). Whitewater rafting this section is quiet easy so it serves as a training for the big rapids, at the lower end of the Manso river. Lunch and dinner in the midst of an almost virgin landscape with beautiful views to the Andes and souranded by Andean forest.
The next six nights are spent at the camping site.
Day 5 - Horseback riding or mountain biking through the Manso river valley (single track):
After breakfast we mount our horses (or mountain bikes) and ride
along a shoreside track in the direction of Chile. Wonderful
views of Andes mountains and waterfalls await us on the way. (2
Day 6 - Manso river rafting with duckys:
The whitewater rafting excursion in the river Manso valley continues rafting on kayaks (duckys), where
we'll see carp swim around us in the crystal clear waters (about
3 hours paddling leg). After lunch we continue rafting over rapids
class III - IV for about 2 hours Shortly after the border
crossing to Chile at Leon pass, we set up camp on the river
shore and enjoy a Lamb Asado.
Day 7 - Manso river valley horseback riding:
Inhabitants of this remote Manso river valley will lend us their horses. Descent
on horseback in the midst of the luxurious and damp wilderness called
Valdivian rainforest, which shall leave a deep impression on us. We follow the Manso river bank first to the South then turning
to the Northeast to Los Morros river with great views of the Andes.
We stay for the night
at a Chilean old settler family house or we camp.
8 & 9 - Manso river valley horseback riding:
We continue on foot - hiking or on horse - riding along the Manso river, descending toward the Cochamo
river valley which flows to the Reloncaví on the Pacific ocean.
We set up camp for the night.
Day 10 - Manso river valley hiking - Puerto Varas:
After a hearty breakfast, we do some hiking, the last leg until
we reach the end of the Manso river which flows into the fiord on the Pacific ocean. Transfer with bus to Puerto
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Puerto Varas by
Llanquihue lake shore, with great view to Osorno volcano at front.
Day 11 Puerto Montt - Angelmó market:
Trasfer to Puerto Montt with regular bus (20 minutes). A visit to the very picturesque Angelmó Fish Market in Puerto
Montt, where we will also find a great variety of handmade rugs
and other such wares, chilean crafts.
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Puerto
Day 12 - Bariloche:
Regular service bus to Bariloche, overnight stay at Llao-Llao
in an inn.
Day 13 - Bariloche - Buenos Aires:
transfer to Bariloche airport, flight back to Buenos Aires, transfer
to the hotel and overnight.
Day 14 - Buenos Aires:
City-tour through the center of Buenos Aires, an overwhelming
metropolis, visiting several public buildings, harbor, the Tango
quarter San Telmo, and very typical cafés. In the afternoon
transfer to the international airport and departure flight.
